Gerry,

Thank you for being the man you were to us. When we think of Massachusetts my family (Jose & Javier and myself) will always think of and remember you and Barbara and the family. We have always thought of you often and will ALWAYS continue to do so. When Dad (brother Clyde) was sick, you were my "rock". Thank you for that. You are always in my prayers and I wish you peace and happiness. I don't know when I'll be able to

I found a book titled "How To Be The Sweetest, Most Caring And Generous Person On Earth" and it listed all who were "the most". I was surprised when I could not find Gerry's name on the list. As I closed the book I noticed the cover: "Written By Gerry MacDonald"...I was not surprised.

Mac was one of the finest men I know. He was a tremendous Mentor to me as I tried to grasp all the different aspects of successfully managing a skilled nursing center. He was a great teacher and leader. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work for him in East Boston. I learned so much from watching him. What I learned from Mac was invaluable. He was a true listener and always treated other with great respect.
