I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Riordan's passing, such a wonderful man who raised a wonderful family. I grew up with them living on Green St. in Abington. Will cherish all those memories forever.

I remember when I drove from San Francisco to Boston to see Cathy. Jack opened the door and when I introduced myself he, as large as life, patted me on the back and said '..How the hell did you find us!! " (pre mobile phone/computers). Then he proceeded to introduce me to the family like I was a long lost relative. I will never forget his energy

Dear Sue and family,
My husband Paul and I have very fond memories of a lovely afternoon spent with you, Jack, Eileen and John Elliott, back in 2009, when we visited the Cape from Ireland. My Grandmother Kate was Jacks aunt and we still remember your wonderful hospitality. Jack was a fantastic host and his stories entertained us highly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Prayers of peace that passes all understanding to your precious family today. God created him a "gem amongst the stones of this world" His warm, generous, loving spirit is evident In the ripples of kindness and integrity past down through each of you. It is truly more blessed to give than receive and his contributions were exceptional. I am certain his Homecoming with the Lord (& Kathy) was nothing short a "wicked" wonderful Party while on this side of heaven

My condolences and sympathy for your loss

My sincere condolences to the Riordan family. Jack was my high school English teacher at the old Brockton High School. He was without a doubt the most caring teacher I ever had in school. He will be sorely missed. Terry Blanchard
