People are regularly tagged with things like, "he's the nicest guy I've ever known". For Stephen, this just so happens to be a truism I'm sure many people would agree with. I haven't seen Stephen in almost 20 years but he is a man who's friendship I missed dearly. I heard of Stephen's passing yesterday and I have not been able to shake the sadness. So sorry for your lost. Please send my love and concern for Aunt Germaine. She is not my aunt but as a teen that is how I had address her. I am a lifelong friend of Barbara Mercier. This family has been through a lot through the years and this one is s shock. I pray you find peace through your memories, family, and friends.

These past 15 years have been a blessing to reacquaint with my cousin Stevie and Denise in Boston, Oregon, and Texas. His light hearted humor and laughter plus a big heart is what I will always remember about Stephen. My fondest memory is the time we visited our grandparents' camp in Ogunquit, Maine and reminiscing about our childhood adventures.

He loved Denise and his his family fiercely and was so proud to have a grandson named after him. He will be sorely missed by all!

Dear Denise and family. My deepest condolences on your loss. Steve and I were classmates at Greater Lawrence Tech as well as teammates on the football team. Though we lost touch with each other after graduation, I have fond memories of those high school years. I know Steve will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
