Dear Paul and Mark,
I am so sorry about your Dad! We talked often but I was not aware that he had gone to the nursing home and just found out this morning ( June 11 ) of his passing and want to send our deepest condolences from the entire Giannelli family! Let me know if you need me to check house or anything! As u know, I am still next door
I certainly would have attended

Dr. Guida was my predecessor as Executive Director at the Mass Society of Optometrists (MSO). He was my mentor during the early years (mid 90's) at the MSO.. He was a kind and gentle man. For many years, In addition to the many phones calls to him, I enjoyed seeing and talking to him at our Sunday Optometric seminars. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

I worked with Dr, Guida on various committees in the 80s. He had great organizational skills and I have fond memories of him running meetings. He loved our profession of optometry and I'm sure his patients loved him. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Dave Momnie

As executive director of the MSO, Carmine was a good friend, mentor and teacher to me as I went through the chairs of the MSO leadership.

He and Mary made Carol and me feel like we were part of the family as he did any of the optometrists associated with the society.

Carmine was a significant part of my personal and professional life and I look at his passing with sorrow.

Mark,I'm sorry for your loss. Your dad was a super man. He was always so good to all of your friends when we were over your house (that was a lot). He also took care of my mother's eyes as she haD some problems which could've been worse had she not seen him. I'm sure he's in a happy place with your mom now. Wish you the best in these difficult times.
