Our family will always have a special place in our heart for John. My trust and faith in John as a mentor for my son was always met with enthusiasm and humility. I am thankful h we were given the chance to become better people for having known him.

A shining star, one of the good guys.
Taken from us all far to soon after a tragic accident on May 26th 2017. Your wisdom, experience and so much more will be missed by so many. May you rest in peace but never be forgotten.

I was just one of many people that John inspired to be a better leader, scout, and person. I am forever grateful for his time, energy, and support that he gave to those he interacted with. It truly made a difference. Rest easy, you still be missed.

John. You were such an inspiration to me from 2008-2011 and continue to be an inspiration after death. Thank you for all the knowledge you imparted on me in the OA and with life in general. You will be certainly missed in your respective communities, but never forgotten. Rest Easy John

I knew John through the OA - he helped me pass "Brotherhood" level. I followed his travels on facebook and was always impressed by his friendships and his leadership. May he rest in peace. May the memories you have of him be a blessing to you always.

I'm a Harvard employee, and I happened to be at the Dental School that Friday. I'm very sorry. It's never easy to loose a loved one. Remember: one day at a time... One hour at a time... One minute at a time...
