Ralph was my first supervisor at MACOM back in 1983. He offered me the job before the interview was finished.
I always fond him to a patient teacher to new employees. He had an easy smile.
He always had a thick beard. He told us how he shaved it off one day. His daughter who had never seen him without it went running screaming from the room because she thought a stranger was in the house.

I was just having a conversation with my neighbor about my first boss out of HS (1980) and his 442 convertible.
I decided to look Ralph up and was sad to hear about his passing. Ralph was a great guy. I'm sorry for your loss.

Lina,Tommy,Julianne and Amy. I am very sad to hear about Ralph. I remember him as a great father and husband , also a very special man.
