Ms. Theresa A. Monaco
August 25, 1939 - April 2, 2017
Stoneham, Massachusetts

Did Ms. Monaco teach classes in Houston, Texas circa 1975-1988? That Theresa Monaco had some biographical history in common with the Boston lady. But Texas is not mentioned. I know our Theresa M. was also deeply spiritual and very kind.

Theresa was a founding member of Gallery NAGA, helping to establish the foundation on which she and a great many artists have exhibited their work. Her sensitive and evocative portraits and landscapes communicated her appreciation of and affection for moments of grace. The gallery's staff sends condolences to her family and friends, with gratitude for Terry and her work.

Dear Ann and Maria and family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Terry's passing. I will always remember her for her kind and gentle spirit with a pleasant sense of humor. She always made me feel so welcome. She was so modest and humble; I had no idea that she was so accomplished. It is a sad time for all of you, and I am saddened too. Her spirit will live in your hearts forever. Take care and and may the love and support you have for each other carry you through this sad time. Diane

Although as a new member of the Saturday Morning Club I only knew Theresa for a few months, but her recent heartfelt paper before the group made a big impression on me. I am sorry that I will never get to know her better.

So saddened to hear the news of Terry's passing. Terry always greeted me with a warm smile and was always so fun to talk to at family gatherings. She went out of her way to talk to me when I was a kid and was so thoughtful. I didn't realize what an accomplished artist she was, but it is no surprise. I wish my kids were able to meet her. My thoughts are with Maria, Ann and family during this time. A tremendous loss. Much Love. Kara (Merenda) Colletti and family (Kevin, Cameron and Olivia)

Terry was a remarkable person who was loved by all who knew her.
She will always be in my prayers, and I'm sure, on her way to heaven, she will be praying for each of us, too.

Theresa was my dearest cousin and a best friend. How fortunate I was all these years to have had her as a friend and confidant.
I have loved and admired her all my life.
My heart is aching thinking of life without her.
She was an exceptional woman who was modest and unassuming about her incredible accomplishments . She had a great sense of humor, and was a delight to be with!

Our lives were very different. I was a married and had a large family, and she was a well educated and accomplished woman. Which gave us many opportunities to discuss our differences with much laughter!
She visited often and my children loved her.

She and her family were an important part of my life.I am so saddened by her death. Toni Faria

I got to know Theresa over the past eight years when she came in to my pharmacy to get her prescriptions. She would never complain about her health. She always asked about my children and everyone at work knew she was my favorite customer. I will miss her smile, her advice, and all her kind words. Rest in peace Theresa. Judi Corbishley
