Shirley and William bought a 75 year old home in South Yarmouth on the Cape and a villa at The Villages in Florida after retiring.

Her hobbies include crocheting afghans for all her children and grandchildren. Shirley also made quilts for the younger girls, Jessica and Katie. She loved to read, dance with her husband, line dance, play cards of all sorts, especially bridge, paint landscapes with oils and acrylics, children with pups, butterflies, ducks and flowers. She enjoyed golf at The Villages and the Cape and singing with The Village Choralettes for many years.

Very sorry for your family's loss. I didn't know Shirley but saw that she graduated Stoneham High in 1950 - the same year as my mother Adeline Mustone. I have her yearbook and it looks like Shirley and she were in basketball together. My mother passed from cancer in 1997. I hope that they connect in heaven and have a wonderful reunion. Please accept my condolences. It is very hard to lose a mother/grandmother. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Take time to grieve and celebrate a life filled with love, service, no humility. When anxieties overwhelm you during this most difficult time, remember that Almighty God will comfort and soothe you (Psalm 94:19). pth
