Condolence & Memory Journal

I am deeply saddened to hear about Bill's passing. He was my first professional mentor and guided me into the profession I am today. The days at Focus on Boston were great because of him. Thank you Bill, and you will be missed.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of my Uncle Bill! I am so thankful that my family and I was able to visit him and Mary last July. I wish I could be at his service to share in the memories. I will always remember Bill as a good man, a loving husband, and father. I wish we didn't live so far away from family, as I didn't get to see him and his family as often as I would have liked to.
I also admire the love that Bill and Mary shared during their 50 years of marriage! It brings a smile to my face when I think of the times Mary went to work with Bill during his illness to help him walk up the stairs, You don't see commitment like that every day. That act of love and his dedication to his work is to be commended. I admire that so much!!
Mary and family- I love you all and will be praying for you during this difficult time.

Bill was admired professionally and personally by our entire staff at Johnson
O'Connor. He cared not only about our finances, but about our mission and our people. He had a happy demeanor and a warm, wonderful smile, and he meant so much more to us than just being a co-worker. He was a true friend.

One of my favorite memories is from our very first meeting at his job interview. I was explaining that our finance offices were on the 3rd floor of our historic building and that there was no elevator; he grinned and energetically said that even if we had an elevator, he'd take the stairs, anyway!

Mary- Your devotion to Bill has been inspiring. I hope there is some comfort now in knowing that he is a new angel in heaven, watching out for you from above.
