To the O'Neil family:

So very sorry for your loss. Over many years serving at St. Patrick's Cy
continued to bless us all with his gifts which were too many to count.
As a parishioner and lay minister I was blessed to work with Deacon Cy
on many occasions. He officiated also at one of my grandchildrens'
baptisms which was also very special to our family. May memories of so
many happy times spent together as a family comfort you at this very
sad time. He will be remembered with love at St. Pat's for always.

Carolyn, may peace be with you in the day ahead. You know better than anyone that an amazing man was called to new life with Christ.

Before he was a Deacon, Mr. O'Neil was our CCD teacher, and before that, a family friend. His spiritual influence shaped my upbringing, and I was so grateful that he gave the blessing at my wedding. I will never forget him, because he is woven into the fabric of my life. I look forward to seeing Carolyn, Chris and Cynthia on Friday.

Our families have so many great memories together, from Christmas Eve to vacations at La Salette chalets. Even when I was young, Mr. O'Neil used to challenge me to think analytically with brain teasers and word problems. Mrs. O'Neil, Chris, and Cynthia--my heart goes out to you during this very sad time.
