Eddie and I met at Austin Prep freshmen year. I saw him tapping on his desk and approached him about starting a rock band. Eddie played the drums, but asked me to show him how to play guitar. I showed him a little bit and with his uncle's help, he became a very talented guitar player. I have vivid memories of going with his family up to their house in NH and cruising around on Eddie's boat and watching Goodfellas with he and his dad late at night. We lost touch over the years, but I spoke with Eddie a few years ago. He still was the same lovable charismatic guy I'd always known. It is absolutely tragic that he's gone. My heart goes out to the people closest to him. For me, I'm just grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing him, albeit briefly, in this life. Sincerely, Matt Rowe
