Dear Eileen,
We are so grateful for your beautiful testimonial to your dad at his Funeral Service yesterday. As is well known, Joe had a great spirit and a great heart - a "heart of gold".
Thank you too, for mentioning so many of your dad's friends by name. It was very kind and touched everyone deeply.
With great affection,
Carole

My condolences to the Connolly family for their loss of Joe and the previous loss of Katherine. They were wonderful people. I knew Joe since 1957 in Woburn. We attended Bentley College, and joined the Army Reserves together. They will be missed.

Such a delightful wit that informed, entertained, and directed. It was a total delight to walk the golf course with Joe. The numbers faded while the warmth of the experience grew. We are better for having known him.

To Jason and Eileen and family members;
We are saddened to hear of your father's passing. We fondly remember him as a loving husband and father and an extraordinary coach of basketball and baseball. Who can ever forget Sunday basketball at Stoneham High School? Great memories. Can never think of him without thinking of your mother. They were such a devoted couple AND so much fun to be around. Cherish your memories and remember you were blessed to have such wonderful parents.
Thinking of you at this sad time.
