We went to high school together; Walter was one of the guys who you could always count on to be kind to everyone. The older we get, the more we value that trait. May all the joy he brought into your lives bring you moments of happiness.

Dear Marhafer Family, Walter and I were neighbors when we were children. He was older than me. What I remember about Walter was his kindness to me. Though-out my life I remained friends with his brother, Stephen. I was invited to celebrate one of Walter's AA anniversary at his home. He was the same Walter I remembered as a child: kind and interested in what I had to say.
