Although out of touch since our early 30s, my memories of Jeannie are from high school - Baton Squad fun, dances and proms, walking (and walking) from my house to her house to downtown to eat french fries and Coke at the local train station cafe, and back again - I bet it was 4 or 5 miles! Ironing her endless pile of jeans! I still have her graduation picture as she is such a part of my high school memories. God bless Jeannie, her daughter, and all her family.

Jean was the most loving, generous person I have had the pleasure of meeting. I will truly miss our fun talks on the deck and the laughter at family gatherings. May you rest in peace, my dear friend, until we meet again.
