I am saddened to hear of the passing of a member of the class of 1974. I knew Mike, though not very well as I wished. But I knew him as a member of the Norwich family and Mountain Cold Weather Team. Norwich Forever Gary Stebbins, LTC, FA, US Army Retired, NUCC 1973

Mike was truly a great friend. He was always there when you needed someone to talk to and could always be counted on to give you his honest opinion. As I reflect on the many trips we took together throughout Europe and in the States, I can't help but smile. He was a great soldier and friend who will be missed.

Every night I imagine touching your face, but nothing is there except empty space.
My dreams are filled with visions of eternal bliss, sealed by your tender and heavenly kiss.
I awake from my dreams, yearning to hold you near, searching but not finding, bringing me to tears.
I lie there thinking about how you showed me love, making me wonder if you were sent from heaven above.
I fall asleep knowing that you are in my mind and my heart, for love is eternal and we will never be apart.
