Laura Jean Harney of Reading passed away suddenly on November 5th. She was 33 years of age.

She is the beloved daughter of Bill and Mary Ann Harney, and sister of Patrick Harney also of Reading. She is the niece of Mary Benfield of Olympia, Washington, James Harney of Melrose, Robert Lombardelli of Melrose, and Nancy Lombardelli of Portland ME.

She attended Reading High School and Lowell University. She was a talented swimmer and softball player in high school. She worked in customer service and restaurant management. Bill and Mary Ann:
I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news of the passing of your daughter. Although I never meet her, I feel I knew something about her from my conversations with you Bill.
I wish I could find the words that could help lessen your sorrow.
Please know I will remember Laura in my daily intentions and in Sunday Mass.
May God be with you in this extremely difficult time.
