HI, MY NAME IS ANN JOSEPHINE BIANCHI

I WAS BORN APRIL 3, 1930 IN CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS. PEOPLE LIKE TO CALL ME "ANNA BANANA". THAT ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH. I HAVE ONE BROTHER NAMED BART AND TWO SISTERS, MARY AND DORIS. MY FIRST JOB WAS WORKING AT AN ICE CREAM PARLOR AND THAT IS WHERE I MET THE LOVE OF MY LIFE LOUIS. I WOULD RIDE MY BROTHER'S BIKE TO WORK. ONE DAY LOUIS STOLE MY BROTHER'S BIKE AND SAID HE WOULD RETURN IT WHEN I GAVE HIM MY PHONE NUMBER. THIS WAS THE BEGINNING OUR LIFE LONG LOVE STORY.

LOUIS JOINED THE NAVY FOR FOUR YEARS AND SERVED IN WWII. LOUIS, HIS MOTHER AND SISTER WERE THE FOUNDERS OF THE HOUSE OF BIANCHI WHICH WAS TO BECOME ONE OF THE PREMIER WEDDING GOWN MANUFACTURERS IN THE UNITED STATES. I BEGAN TO WORK WITH LOUIS AND LEARNED HOW TO BE A SEAMSTRESS. WEDDINGS WERE THE PASSION WE SHARED FOR MANY YEARS TOGETHER. LOUIS AND I MARRIED ON SEPTEMBER 26, 1948.

WE HAVE TWO SONS, STEVEN AND BRIAN AND A DAUGHTER, LISA. I LOVED TO DO ALTERATIONS ON WEDDING GOWNS. I MADE MY OWN DRESSES AND SUITS. SEWING WAS MY FAVORITE PAST TIME. I ALSO HAVE MUSIC IN MY HEART AND LOVE TO DANCE WHENEVER I HEAR MUSIC. AFTER LOUIS AND I RETIRED FROM THE WEDDING GOWN BUSINESS WE STARTED OUR LAST JOURNEY IN BUSINESS TOGETHER AS THE PROUD OWNERS OF OUR VERY OWN ICE CREAM SHOP IN READING MASSACHUSETTS CALLED MR SOFTIE. IT IS THERE THAT OUR FAMILY GREW BY THE DOZENS. IT WAS OUR HAPPY PLACE. LOUIS MADE THE ICE CREAM AND I MADE MY SPECIAL FRAPPES THAT WERE LOVED BY MANY.

MY DEAR LOUIS PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 5, 2012. MY HEART WAS BROKEN. TODAY THROUGH GOD'S EVERLASTING LOVE WE ARE TOGETHER ONCE AGAIN.

LOVINGLY AND RESPECTFULLY COMPOSED BY LISA ANN BIANCHI
