Louis A. DiSalvo of Reading passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Winchester Hospital. He was 68 years of age.

Born on March 8,1948 in Providence, Rhode Island, Louis was the loving son of the late Louis DiSalvo and Mary (Battista) DiSalvo Verde. Lou was a soft-spoken, kind gentleman with an infectious smile and a warm sense of humor. His passions were cooking, music and attending the Boston Symphony and the New York Metropolitan Opera. Lou enjoyed traveling abroad with his wife Kumi and their summer visits to Tanglewood. He enthusiastically supported his home teams the NE Patriots, and the Boston Red Sox. He will be deeply missed, for the love and laughter he brought to our lives.

He proudly defended our freedom by serving in the Unites States Air Force.

Louis was the beloved husband of Kumiko (Okuyama) DiSalvo. He was the dear brother of Linda L. Christoff and her partner Rick Cook and Dorothy A. Veneto and her partner David Ansel and Charles Verde.
